In Australia, UNISMA Strengthening Islamic Brotherhood

To achieve World Class University, University of Islam Malang (UNISMA) continues to collaborate with various countries. Recently, this Multi-cultural College expanded overseas cooperation, by visiting 3 high reputable universities in Australia, such as LaTrobe University, Monash University, and Melbourne University. However, each university had different field of collaboration for UNISMA. For example, in research development, lecturer exchanges, student exchanges, as well as cooperation of development.

Prof. Dr. H. Masykuri Bakri, M.Si. stated that this visit was to organize development system of UNISMA, specifically, in the field of Engineering, Medicine, Natural Sciences, as well as Animal Husbandry and Agriculture.

"In the future, we will adapt various point, in order of UNISMA development, such as the Green House Laboratory in LaTrobe University," said Prof. Masykuri, on Friday (27/07) afternoon.

In this visit, UNISMA delegation consisting of the Rector, Vice Rector I; Prof. H. Junaidi Mistar M.Pd., P.hD, Vice Rector III; Dr. H Badat Muwakhid MP, Secretary of Founder UNISMA Foundation; Dr. H. Mochtar Data MPd, Chair of the Foundation for Business and Infrastructure; Ir. H M Amarullah. There was also the Chair of Education and Cooperation UNISMA Foundation; Dr. Hj Mudawama, Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry; Dr. Ir Hj Inggit Kenconowati MP and Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture; Dr. Hj Nur Hidayati MPd.

Beside academic visit, the Rector of UNISMA had also been lined up to be a Khotib (Friday prayer speech) at Australia Consul General. In addition, to strengthen Islamic brotherhood values, UNISMA signed MoU with NU International Branch Office in Melbourne and visited some Islamic schools.
